    course, I agreed to this because I didn't mind doing it. I covered her Saturday so she could go to a funeral. So, I come in and find out that my section has one of those kinds of customers.

    Already stupid drunk and is already a drink or two in. I start doing my thing. I card on the next drink. Find out the kid has a fake ID and is underage.

    I get with my bartender and FOH manager and consult them. We confront the customer and they get really mad at us. Customer cusses us out. Cops are called and he's escorted out.

    Rest of the night goes off without a hitch. I then enjoyed my Wednesday off thinking all is well. I didn't work again until last night.

    Last night, I get called back to the GM's office. I see him and the FOH manager. I think this isn't good. I get yelled at for the bad yelp review which I was named.

    Apparently it was the guy I carded. And I got pegged for a no call no show which I have none. They proceeded to fire me for the bad review, the no call no show, and serving a minor (never served him

    alcohol...instead I carded him). I refused to sign the paperwork. Never thanked them for employing me. Nothing. Just walked out and thanked the girls I worked with and told them what happened.

    As I write this, I'm thinking about going nuclear and calling the TABC about the place serving minors. What would you do? I'm also inquiring about unemployment.

    FOH did try to come to my defense. But the GM already had his mind made up to fire me and this was his way to get rid of me. I do have a decent check coming to me. Not enough

    Above all, don't let slide management's claim you served alcohol to underage patrons. Make it clear you carded the table and called the cops who escorted someone out.

    You want management to be known as a bad actor prone to making false claims about ex- employees. So when more complaints come rolling in, they're not treated as one-time gripes.

    Let other people know what sh ty managers they are. Their quality of server will go down as good wait staff will stay away.
